Karyn Schluter-White has a deep belief in and a need for practical things that work and support us to acknowledge our learning, apply it, to move forward and grow. This belief and need drive much of how she operates with her clients, whether in the role of facilitator, coach, trusted adviser, critical friend or consultant. Karyn runs her own life and business through an action learning frame, using the way she responds to her challenges to increase her own learning, locus of control and hence resilience. This modelling and willingness to share her own learning is one of her most significant gifts.

The success of her public sector work over the last 12 years rests on her approach to learning that encompasses building instant rapport; meeting people where they are at with compassion; believing in their capacity to learn, to drive and apply their own learning; making her processes transparent; balancing encouragement and challenge; and ‘being’ there for the journey.

Karyn’s work focuses on the areas of leadership and management development, change management, team development, relationships and partnerships, coaching and facilitation. Together, Karyn and Julia Zimmerman have designed and facilitated cross department programs in “The art of BEiNG a facilitator”. Because of the wealth of her public sector experience, Karyn has been successful in becoming a ‘panel provider’ for several public sector agencies.
